Pauline McPartland

Co-Founder & Co-Director

 

Pauline McPartland is a qualified trainer in Perinatal Mental Health, Mindfulness and other wellbeing training provision. She is a person centred counsellor and Specialist Practitioner in Perinatal Mental Health, having worked for many years with PSS UK a professional providing 121 & group therapy, advising and developing PND Services in Liverpool as Service Manager. Pauline holds many qualifications as a trainer, facilitator as well as a counsellor and she has written a variety of training courses and bespoke workshops for parents, professionals and for businesses, providing both mental health awareness training and also implented peer support workshops with safeguarding and best practice being the utmost priotity.

 

Her natural way of being is an authentic and empathic communicator which captures the attention of people in various arenas, this makes Pauline a very successful public speaker and presenter recognised by her many TV appearances raising awareness, discussing the issues and providing lived experiences of others. Pauline has also contributed to two recent book publications - Another Twinkle In The Eye by Elaine Hanzack and also The Little Book Of Hope by Rose Wren. Pauline was key in producing 'Our Stories' DVD - Personal stories of Perinatal illness, which she also features in along with Mark Williams and actress Denise Welch.

Pauline’s passion for perinatal mental health is matched by her desire to ensure all services follow best-practice and adhere to a framework of standards in safety, safeguarding and supervision, ensuring all Peer Support is conducted safely.

With her many years of experience in service design, planning and provision Pauline provides consultancy and advice across many aspects of safe service provision as well as design and delivery of bespoke training and workshops.

Mark Williams

Co-Founder & Co-Director

 

Mark Williams, co-founder of the organisation Dads Mental Health Matters. Mark has founded many social awareness projects and believes that men should have insight, education and awareness before becoming father’s. Dads Mental Health Matters believes that the quicker the help, the quicker the recovery.

 

Mark has enjoyed great success and won awards for his previous work in founding the Fathers Reaching Out charity and for his other social media campaigns.

Mark has trained in Mental Health First Aid and Perintal Mental Health and is a qualified trainer, this helps him to offer perinatal depression peer support workshops and training safely, something he feels is massively important. Mark has contributed to various publications, more recently being 'Another Twinke In The Eye' by Elaine Hanzack and also 'Listening Visits in Perinatal Mental Health' by Dr Jane Hanley.

Mark is very charismatic in both the press and in social media and like Pauline, Mark has created a network of media contacts within the dads and mums arena and he also has access to a substantial level of information and lived experience.
